Manly Alexander

Manly Alexander, 79, well-known Stockport resident, died Saturday morning, May 12 at Van Buren County Memorial hospital at Keosauqua.

Services were held at 2 p.m. (CST) Tuesday, May 15 at the Stockport Methodist church, the Rev. Chester C. Werft officiating. Burial was in Bentonsport cemetery.

Born Aug. 25, 1882, he spent all of his life in the Stockport and Bonaparte communities.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Cross, Ft. Madison, and Mrs. Effie Cross, Westfix, Oregon.
