ELI NICKLIN DIED IN KANSAS HOSPITAL

SELMA - Eli Nicklin, who died Sept 18 at a hospital in Emporia, Kansas, was the son of William and Elizabeth Nicklin, pioneer residents of Van Buren county. He was 75 years of age.

He grew up and lived in this vicinity for many years before going to Kansas. He was married in Kansas. He was married in Kansas and lived there more than 40 years. He was the last of a family of 8 brothers and two sisters. His wife preceded him in death. Only nieces and nephews and survive.

Two of his nephews, Dudley Vaughn and Carroll Nicklin of Selma, attended the funeral and burial at Emporia last Tuesday.
