EARL SCHELLHOUS

Earl Schellhous, 79, died Thursday, Sept. 1 at his home in Selma. His death followed a two weeks illness. He was a farmer during the early part of his life. For the past 18 years he operated a filling station at Selma, retiring from that business Dec. 1, 1948.

Surviving are his wife and a son, Dean, of Davenport.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Selma Methodist church with the Rev. Robert G. Farr officiating. Burial was in the Iowaville cemetery.
