Mrs. Chafer's Nephew Killed In Crash Of Airplane

Dr. Dale Forest, 38, Clinton chiropractor and one of three Clinton residents killed in the crash of an airplane near Newhall, Ia., last week was a nephew of Mrs. Lucy Chafer of Keosauqua.

Dr. Forest's mother, Fannie Chafer, was a Keosauqua resident before her marriage to Dwight Forest and was a sister of the late John Chafer.

Services for Dr. Forest, owner and pilot of the plane, were held in Clinton last Friday. The plane left Clinton the Friday before bound for Sioux Falls, So. Dak., for a chiropractic convention. Wreckage and the bodies of Dr. day.
