MRS. BOCKELMAN DEAD
Passed Away at St. Joseph's Hospital at Keokuk

Mrs. Pauline Bockelman a life long resident of Farmington, died at St. Joseph's hospital Wednesday July Fourth, as the result of a goitre(err) operation. She had been ailing for some time, and a consultation of physician, determined that an operation was necessary, and she left for the Keokuk hospital last week, and the operation table. The body arrived here this (Thursday) morning, and funeral arrangements had not been perfected when this was wwaitten(err).

The body was removed from the hospital to the home of a friend of the deceased, Mrs. A.D. Thomas and prepared for shipment.

Mrs. Thomas accompanied the remains to Farmington.

Miss Louise Michel, a sister of Mrs. Bockelman, was with her when the end came.
