Mrs. Sarah E. Hootman

Mrs. Sarah E. Hootman, 82, died at 3 a.m. Monday at the home of her son, Earl Hootman, four miles east of Douds.

She had been in ill health since the death of her husband last August 26. She was the last of a family of eight. Her son and two grandsons survive.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Zion Lutheran church, the Rev. C.J. Dingman in charge. Burial in Zion Lutheran cemetery.
