Jennie grew to womanhood in the Hillsboro community, attended the local school, and on Oct. 5, 1887, was united in marriage with Charles S. Percival, also of Hillsboro. The young couple went to Iowa City where they lived while the husband completed his dental education. They then located in Bonaparte, Iowa, where Dr. Percival practiced his profession of dentistry until he retired from active work about three years ago.

She enjoyed her home and her family, she and her husband having celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary Oct. 5, 1937. Dr. Percival died March 17, 1946.

Mrs. Percival, was one of six brothers and sisters, all of whom preceded her in death except one brother, F.A. Beckley, of Oak Lawn, Ill. Besides the children already mentioned she also leaves to mourn four grand-children: Charles Kinsey of Wichita; Robert Percival of Ft. Madison; Jack Percival of Bonaparte; Patti Jane Percival of Hoxie, Kansas; and one great-granddaughter, Jean Anne Kinsey of Wichita, Kansas.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Bonaparte on Monday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.S. Ellis. Interment in Bonaparte cemetery.
