MRS. ANNA KIEFER

Mrs. Anna Kiefer, 92, died January 22 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Light of Ottumwa.

The daughter of Samuel H. and Susan Fischel Rominger, she was born in Hope, Ind., August 19, 1854. Mrs. Kiefer was the last of a family of four children. For the past 73 years she has been a resident of Van Buren and Wapello counties and has lived in Ottumwa for the past 40 years. During her residence in Ottumwa she was a member of the Plymouth Congregational church. She was married to Adam Kiefer December 19, 1872. He preceded her in death in December, 1919. Three children also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kiefer is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Light and Mrs. W.H. Welton, both of Ottumwa and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Johnson funeral chapel with burial in Eldon cemetery.
