Word was received Sunday of the sudden death at West Point of Mr. Thos. Lowery, formerly superintendent of the handle factory at this place. Mr. Lowry moved to West Point in June to engage in business with Mr. Cantril. His death was a great shock to his friends in this community. He leaves a wife . . . .
