FREDERICK SEIMON.
Frederick Seimon was born in Germany, February 2, 1846, and came to America in 1851. He lived for a short time in Wisconsin and then moved to Van Buren county, Iowa, near Bentonsport. This county has been his home since that time, except 6 years that he lived in Davis county. He was married to Miss Sarah E. Carson Nov. 16, 1871. to them were born three children, Retta, George and Stella, who with their mother are left to mourn his death. He leaves also his mother, five brothers and four sisters. He died April 8, 1891, on the farm near Selma where he recently resided, aged 45 years, 2 months and 6 days. His funeral took place from Mt. Moriah church, 3 1/2 miles east of Selma, April 10, 1891, Rev. G.W. Barber, conducting the service.
