DIED. - EDWARD - Son of Charles and Rachel Baldwin, was born July 21st, 1858, and died March 31st, 1873.

He was most tenderly cared for by a fond family during his lingering illness.

All that the best medical skill could do did not avail to check the progress of the malady which issued so fatally to a young life and brought a sorrow upon the stricken household which none can appreciate who live not passed through a like experience. Intelligent and manly beyond his years; loving and dutiful; the joy of a mother's heart; of a promise to kindle a father's expectation, a ray of sunshine in a home more than ordinarily blessed in its relationship, beloved by all who knew him he has passed away to the land of the beauty and of song and in his departure casting a shadow, all along the future path of the loved ones left behind.
