--Mr. John M. Estes, formerly of this county, died in California last week. Mr. Estes established a democratic paper at Vernon in the 50's, and finally moved it to this place, where he published it some time. He afterwards returned to Vernon and conducted a grocery store there until about 1862 or 1863, when he moved to Agency where he practiced law. From Agency he went to Osceola, where he recided(sp) until recently. He was about 84 years of age.
