DOUD.

Mrs. Jane Whitten Doud, wife of ex-Senator Eliab Doud, of Douds, died at her home Monday, Jan. 13, 1896, at 2:30 a.m. The funeral services were held Wednesday. Mrs. Doud was born in Lawrence county, Ohio, Jan. 19, 1829, and was married Jan. 2, 1847. She was the mother of 11 children. Mrs. Doud was a member of the Baptist church, and a very excellent and highly respected lady. Her husband survives her at the age of 84.
