DEATH OF MRS. BUSBY.

Alice Marie Lawson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lawson, passed away on Friday, July 27th, 1923, at her home in West Point, Iowa.

She was born in Fort Madison, Iowa on January 4th, 19223, and at the time of her death had reached the age of 30 years, 6 months and 23 days.

On August 27th, 1909, she was united in marriage to Clarence Busby. To this union four children were born all of whom survive.

With the exception of eight years, which was spent in Warren County, Illinois, Mrs. Busy lived during her entire life in Lee County, Iowa.

She was endeared to all, who knew her by her kindness and loving disposition, and her death came as a severe shock to her relatives and many friends.

The deceased is survived by the sorrowing husband, her father, William Lawson, and the children: Blanche, 13; Hazel, 11; James, 6, and Ruby, 3. She is also survived by her brothers: Delbert Lawson, of Burlington, Iowa; Lloyd Lawson, of Clinton, Iowa, and Alfred Lawson, of this city.

The funeral took place from the Methodist Episcopal church in this city on Monday, July 30th, 1923, and was in charge of Rev. G.W. Barber and interment was had in the Spencer cemetery.
