SUDDEN DEATH.
Mrs. John Brown Affected By Vivid Lightning Stroke and Does Not Recover.

Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, wife of John Brown of this place died at 3 o'clock this morning. Last night at 8 o'clock she was rendered unconscious by an unusually vivid flash of lightning, and continued in that condition until her death, six or seven hours later. She was sitting in a chair when it happened. It is not supposed she was struck by lightning, but the shock from sudden fright brought on a fatal attack of apoplexy. Mrs. Brown was 70 years of age. The family moved here a number of years ago from near Kilbourne.
