Edward B. Dills

Edward B. Dills, 65, died Saturday morning, Jan. 24 in the Davis county hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Dills lived in Milton a number of years and for 20 years before his illness he worked as chef at the Lincoln hotel at Ft. Madison. He was veteran of World War I, when he served with cavalry.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jess Jolley of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Mabel Gilfillan of Bloomfield, and two brothers, Tom Dills of Spokane, Wash.; and William Dills of Florida.

The service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26 at the Wagler funeral home in Bloomfield. The Rev. John Beebout was in charge. Burial was in the Sunnyside cemetery at Milton.
