Dies Of Heart Attack

PULASKI. - Clifford Paxton Bell, 62, prominent Hereford cattle breeder, died of a heart attack about 2 p.m. Friday while driving through Pulaski.

Mr. Bell was alone, en route from his home in Bloomfield to his farm a mile west of Milton. The car rolled to a stop against a gate near the Pulaski school.

With his son, Clifford, Jr., Bell became nationally known in the purebred cattle business before the latter's unexpected death in 1950.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Milton Methodist church. The Rev. Harold Harryman, pastor, will be in charge. Burial will be in the Milton Sunnyside cemetery. The body is at the Wagler funeral home in Bloomfield.

He was born at Milton November 12, 1892, the son of Elias and Alice Bell. Surviving are his wife Gladys, a son Elias of Chariton, a brother Jesse of Milton and three sisters, Mrs. J.B. Tuttle of Memphis, Mo., Miss Edith Bell of Milton and Mrs. P.O. Martin of Des Moines.
