LODGE CONDUCTS GRAVESIDE RITES

Selma - Selma Odd Fellows conducted graveside rites at the Ashland cemetery for Frank Mingus, 83. He had been a member of the lodge since 1913. Mr. Mingus lived four miles south of Eldon. He was unmarried and lived alone.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 18 at the Campbell funeral home in Eldon in charge of the Rev. Jack Merritt of the Eldon Baptist church.

He had been in failing health several years and apparently died of natural causes several days before he was discovered. He is survived by a sister, Mary Francis Mingus of Ottumwa and several nieces and nephews.
