Chas. F. Steinmeyer

Chas. Frederick Steinmeyer, son of Louis and Elizabeth Steinmeyer was born October 19, 1877 and died May 18, 1933, age 55 years, 7 months and 29 days. He was united in marriage at Corydon, Iowa, to Emma McKeehan of Centerville November 13, 1906. To this union one son was born. Charlie was a man with a fine kindly disposition, honest in all dealings, keeping always to the golden rule. His kindly disposition won for him many friends. He lived the most of his life in Des Moines Iowa, and Detroit Minnesota, working at the barber trade. The last eight years of his life has been spent in helping his parents. He leaves to mourn one son Edwin Steinmeyer, one brother J.E. Steinmeyer of Galesburg, Ill., one sister Miss Jennie Steinmeyer of Bonaparte, Iowa, and a number of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at his mother's home Saturday May 20 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harvey E. Butler of Farmington officiated.

The body was placed in the Steinmeyer cemetery near Farmington.
