LOCAL WOMAN DIES TODAY

Mrs. Bertha Robinson, 70, 1021 Avenue F, died at 5:45 a.m. today in Sacred Heart hospital where she had been a patient since Monday.

Born Aug. 30, 1878, in Vernon, Iowa, she was married there to the late Harry M. Robinson on Aug. 24, 1896. She was affiliated with the Christian church at Vernon. She had lived in Fort Madison since 1909.

Rites

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Clements Chapel with the Rev. A.L. Bradbury officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. The body will lie in state at Clements Chapel until time for service.

The deceased is survived by one son, Leon, Fort Madison; one brother, Don Gaston, Chicago; and one sister, Mrs. Harry Shepherd, Fort Madison. A son and a daughter preceded her in death.
