-Miss Laura Burns, aged about 18 years, the highly respected daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Burns of Des Moines township, died yesterday morning of inflammation of the bowels, after a sickness of only about thirty hours. At this writing we have not heard of the time of the funeral or where the burial would be. Much sympathy is expressed for the afflicted parents.
