Mrs. George Stevens died about three o'clock Monday morning, January 14, 1906, of heart trouble, aged about seventy-five years. She had been living with her son, Dan, and daughter, Kate, on the George Ryland farm, what is know as the Mallett place, and it was here that she died.

Funeral services were held at the home at eleven o'clock Tuesday, Rev. Williamson officiating.

She leaves six sons, Dan, Chas., William, George, John and Jake, and the Kate, to mourn the loss of mother.
