OLDEST CITIZEN

Mrs. Gertrude Lampe, oldest citizen of West Point, died August 10, at the age of ninety-one. She was born in St. Paul, Lee county, Iowa, April 16, 1850. Surviving are one son, William of West Point, and one daughter, Mrs. Henry Wilhelm of St. Louis.

She fell at her home and fractured her right hip on the day before her ninety-first birthday and has since that time been confined to her bed.
