MRS. RHODA MARSHALL

Funeral services for Mrs. Rhoda Marshall, former resident of Selma, were held Sunday afternoon at the Campbell funeral home in Eldon, with burial in the Eldon cemetery. Mrs. Marshall died Friday at the home of her son, Glenn in Ottumwa, following a long illness. She was the eldest child of Henry and Matilda Battersno(err), early residents of this vicinity. She was married to Harve Marshall 36 years ago. He died Feb. 16, 1933. She is survived by her son, Glenn; two grandsons, Harvey and George; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Wilburn of Selma, Mrs. Eva Potteroff of Birmingham, Mrs. Mae Turner of Eldon; three brothers, Guy and James of near Floris and John of near Birmingham.
