VERNE GREEN

Keosauqua relatives have received word of the death of Verne Green at Dayton, Ohio, on July 8.

He is survived by his wife; one brother, Harold Green of Oskaloosa; one sister, Mrs. Almeda Smith of Springfield, Ohio, and his cousins James, Sarah and Florence Garrett of Keosauqua.

He was a graduate of Keosauqua high school, also Penn college of Oskaloosa, and had taught school in Alabama. He had recently been teaching in Dayton.
