Mrs. Bessie Clark Rites Held Saturday

Funeral services were held were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Burnett funeral home for Mrs. Bessie Clark, 73, who died Friday. The Rev. Walter Llewellyn was in in charge of the service and burial was in the Cantril cemetery.

Mrs. Clark was born June 1 1876, at Azen, Mo., the daughter of W.H. and Cynthia Ann (Takeberry?). Her husband, Arthur Clark preceded her in death in 1937.

Attending the funeral from Cantril were John Van Fleet, Mr. Edith Van Fossen, Mrs. J.O. Sparks, Mrs. Herder Boyer, Mrs. Lewis Wire, Mrs. Bessie Ferguson and Mrs. Israel Rude.

Also several nieces and nephews from Ft. Madison. Eighteen years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Clark formerly lived in Cantril.
