Homer Woodin

Homer Woodin, 83, Cantril, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 at the Davis County hospital, Bloomfield, where he had been a patient 11 weeks.

The son of Herman and Mary Elizabeth Smith Woodin, he was born Aug. 10, 1878, on a farm northeast of Cantril. He moved into Cantril in 1936.

He was the last of his family. He was unmarried. Surviving are two nephews and four nieces.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Wellborn Funeral Home in Milton with the Rev. Richard Eis, pastor of the Cantril Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in the Hoskin cemetery near Cantril.
