Nellie Fern Gwinnup

Nellie Fern Gwinnup, 92, of Keosauqua, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at Good Samaritan Society - Van Buren in Keosauqua.

The funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Douglas Harding officiating. Burial will be in Fellow Cemetery in Keosauqua.

Visitation with family will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials to Fellows Cemetery can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 8811 Higdon Drive, Vienna, VA 22182.

Mrs. Gwinnup was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Cavalier, North Dakota, the daughter of Marvin and Nellie McIntire Moffett. She married Francis Maurice Gwinnup Dec. 7, 1939, in Fairfield. He is deceased.

Mrs. Gwinnup attended Milton High School.

Survivors include one son, Terry Gwinnup of Vienna, Virginia; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: one daughter, Janet Coe; six brothers, Leonard, Gail, Fred, George, Mac and Bob Moffett; one sister, Madeline Smith; and her parents.
