Larry W. Crockett, 67, of Milton, died Sunday morning, March 9, 2014, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Larry W. Crockett

Larry W. Crockett, 67, of Milton, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at home.

A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. The body has been cremated.

Visitation with family present is 10-11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.

Gifts to a memorial to be designated later by the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to family at P.O. Box 223, Milton 52570.

Mr. Crockett was born Dec. 24, 1046, near Perry, Mo., the son of Charles and Dorothy Misner Crockett.

He grew up and lived in the Davenport area. He worked as a welder in a steel fabrication plant in Davenport.

He had lived the past several years in Milton.

Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Jean Irons of Miami, Okla.; two sons, Christopher Crockett of Sedalia, Mo., and Larry Crockett Jr. of Iowa City; six grandchildren; three stepchildren, Kimberly Koehlhoeffer and Larry Phillips, both of Lenapah, Okla., and Cassie Phillips of Davenport; 10 step-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandson; one sister, Janell Fields of Milton; and one brother, Phillip Crockett of White Lake, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
