To the Memory of Comp. Robert Farmer Bower
Grand High Priest Royal Arch Masons, U.S.Once more we join the fun'ral March--
Death! ah! Death! has triumphed at last!
It dress'd in gloom the royal Arch,
With unfurled banner of the past.Companions pay their last respect
To one who was a brilliant light--
Called home now by the Architect--
With noble heart and honor bright.No more the silver tongue we hear,
Which often knowledge did impart
By him whose work they now revere.
To Craftsmen of the Royal Art,With honors of Supreme Command--
The highest Masons can bestow
Upon its sons in Freedom's Land
Or any Brother here below.Cut off from work in prime of life;
The grave its victory doth tell,
But his Immortal deeds survive.
Though Brothers bid their last FarewellJulius Frankel.
