Death of Albert Morris

Dec. 9, 1919, Albert Morris, a highly respected resident of Van Buren county, died at his son’s home in Vernon, aged 86 years, 1 month and 14 days. His wife died in 1874, since which time he made his home with his son Geo. Nine brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Three children survive, viz., George of Vernon, J.O. of Bonaparte and Mrs. Martha Cross of Denver, Colorado. He was a good man and will be greatly missed in the community where he lived a large portion of his life. The funeral services in charge of Rev. Coppac, were held in the Vernon church, Dec. 11, burial being in the Vernon cemetery.
