-- Mrs. Julia Redd, widow of the late Samuel Redd, died at Eldon Wednesday and was buried Friday. Mrs. Redd was a daughter of Dr. Stidger, one of the early practitioners of this place, and an older sister of Major J.S. Stidger, and of Capt. W.C. Stidger, deceased, and of Miss Beatie Stidger. Mrs. Redd was 72 years of age. Mr. Redd has been dead about two years. The family left this county about 20 years ago.
