Jimmy D. Cole, 79, of Bentonsport, died May 4, 2015, at home. He was born September 2, 1935, in Pittsburg, IA, to Morris J. and Vergil M. Robbins Cole.

Jimmy grew up in Pittsburg and lived his adult life in Bentonsport. He enjoyed antique cars, motorcycles and attending auctions. Most of all he enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Elaine, a son, Rickie D. Cole, and a daughter, Vicki J. Randolph, all of Bentonsport, a brother, Ronald Cole of Elma, WA, three step-sisters, Wanda Walker of Bloomfield, Shirley Schumaker of Bloomfield, and Patricia Foster of Des Moines, five grandchildren, Brian Randolph (Jane) of Bonaparte, Brad Randolph (Cherry) of the Philippines, Alyssa Andersen (Brian) of Velva, ND, Adam Cole (Kelsea) of Cedar Rapids, and Corey Cole of 29 Palms, CA, and three great-granddaughters, Adrian and Corah Cole, and Elaine Andersen, and two great-grandsons, Blake and Liam Randolph.

He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Cole, a brother, Leonard Cole, three half brothers, Paul, Ernest and Albert Cole, two sisters, Katherine Robinson and Dorothy Owlett, two half-sisters, Pauline Heinze and Ernestine Cole, a grandson, Jason Randolph and a granddaughter, Hanna Cole.

Funeral services were held May 11, 2015, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Pastor Danny Cary officiating.

Burial was in Pittsburg Cemetery, west of Keosauqua.
