MRS. H.C. DRUSE

Mrs. Genevieve Hendricks was born in Rock Island County, Ill., on June 30 1882. She was one of a family of four children of C.H. and Elizabeth Hendricks. She took nurse's training and followed that profession for years.

July 25, 1934, she was married to Rev. H.C. Druse, and that fall came to the Methodist parsonage at Birmingham. She was active in church work, but soon disease took hold of her and she had been a great sufferer until Tuesday evening, June 13, 1937, she passed away to sleep.

Besides her husband she leaves an aged father, C.H. Hendricks of Nichols, two brothers, Leonard of West Liberty, and Roy of Tucson, Arizona, and one sister, Mrs. Anna McIntire, of West Liberty, Iowa.

The funeral service was held on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., at the Christian church in Nichols, Iowa, conducted by Rev. Mrs. Hargis. Her mother's funeral was held at the same place June 29, 1937.
