Mrs. Mark Dorothy

Mrs. Mark Dorothy passed away Saturday evening at the home of her parents, Charley Carter and wife, residents of Cedar township. She leaves her husband and three small children. She was 26 years old. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Hickory Grove church and burial in the cemetery there.

MRS. MARK DOROTHY

Macil Irene Dorothy, daughter of Charley and Jennie Carter was born March 17, 1908, four miles east of Stockport, and died January 5, 1935 after a short illness.

When she was nine years of age, she moved with her parents to the vicinity of the Hickory Grove church.

Sept. 1, 1926 she was united in marriage with Mark Dorothy. To this union, three children were born, Milford Carroll, Meyrlan R., and Mernah Darlene, who with their father, survive. Her father and mother and one brother, Lewis Dale Carter, seven uncles and aunts, also survive.

Mrs. Dorothy renewed her Christian faith a short time ago during meetings held in Stockport.

Funeral services were held at Hickory Grove church, in charge of the Rev. McCargar. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.
