MRS. GEORGE BAKER

Mrs. Mary Margaret Baker, 54, of Fairfield died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 9, at Jefferson county hospital. She suffered a heart attack on August 9.

She was born May 21, 1887, a daughter of Charles and Nancy Brewington at Keosauqua. She was united in marriage with George Baker who died March 21, 1937. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Dick Miller of Fairfield, one son, Harry Baker of Fairfield, and four grandchildren; also three brothers, Stanley Brewington of Fairfield, Arthur of Des Moines and Boyd of Ottumwa, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Strean and Mrs. Ethel Dickenson of Fairfield.

She had been employed by the Fairfield Glove and Mitten factory about 18 years.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. A. E. Piper in charge. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
