Mrs. Ernest Strunk

Jessie Sunbeam Morrison, daughter of Wm. I and Essa B. Morrison, was born near Unionville, Iowa, October 27, 1898 and departed this life June 27, 1936 at the Jefferson county hospital in Fairfield, Iowa, at the age of 38 years and 8 months.

Her school career and younger life were spent in and around Unionville.

She was united in marriage Aug. 22, 1915 to Ernest F. Strunk. To this union were born 11 children, three who died in infancy and eight living, namely: Cam, Narland, Billy, Betty Lou, Katherine, Neil, Jimmie and Dickie.

Surviving her besides her husband and children are her parents; a sister Enid Herman of Ottumwa, Iowa; Richard of Albia, Iowa; James E. of Winnetka, Ill.; and Wayne of Ottumwa, Iowa. A brother, Merrill B., preceded her in death. There are also a host of relatives and friends who mourn her departure.

In early womanhood she was converted and united with the Unionville Methodist church.

She was a loving wife and mother with her life's greatest enjoyment centered in her home, and family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at the Unionville Methodist church Monday afternoon, June 29, 1936 at 2 o'clock. Rev. Burner of the Fairview Brethren church officiating. Interment was in Eaton cemetery west of Unionville.
