Mrs. Georgia Neff

Mrs. Georgia Anderson Neff, aged 87 years, died at her home, Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1935. She was born in Farmington, May 24, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anderson. Her grandmother came from Ohio in 1837, a pioneer mother.

She was married to Dr. Geo. R. Neff, April 17, 1870 and they made their home at Athens, Mo., then a thriving place. Two daughters came to their home, Mrs. Minnie Westcott, who survives and Mrs. Effie Boler, deceased.

In 1881 Dr. and Mrs. Neff moved to Farmington which has since been their home.

She was a member of the Congregational church, serving as deaconess year after years.

She was also a member of the Farmington Rebekah lodge, and of Mizpah, O.E.S.. Had she lived until March 5, she would have been a member of that order for fifty years.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational church, Friday, Feb. 15, in charge of the Rev. J.V. Wright. Interment was in the Farmington cemetery.
