John Edward Rigsby was born at Cottonwood, Iowa, Feb. 2, 1878, and died at Racine, Wisconsin, May 5, 1908. His early boyhood was spent on the farm, up to about seven years ago. Since that time he has been engaged in the Plow Shopes at Moline, Ill., and Racine, Wis.
He was married to Miss Ada Anderson Dec. 23, 1903, and to this union was born one son, Ralph Edward. He leaves to mourn their loss a wife, one son, father and mother, five sisters, two brothers, and a host of friends.
There brothers and sisters are Mrs. Lillie Mead and Mrs. Lizzie Bucher of Tobias, Neb., Mrs. Mattie Baule of Fairfield, Iowa, Mrs. Lettie Macklin and Arthur Rigsby of Bonaparte, and Miss Kathryn and Charlie Rigsby of Farmington, all of whom were present at the funeral except the sisters in Neb.
The funeral was held Tuesday May 5, from the home with interment in the Racine Cemetery.
