JOHN WALLACE FULLERTON

John Wallace Fullerton was born near Oquawka, Illinois, March 26, 1865, and passed away at Farmington, Iowa, March 3, 1946, aged 80 years, 11 months, and 5 days.

He was the son of Lemuel and Mary Fullerton. He was of a family of nine children: five brothers having preceded him in death, George, Charles, Hugh, Daniel and James. He leaves two brothers, Edward of New Boston, Ill., and Luke of Oquawka; and one sister, Mrs. Lottie Simpson of Scappoose, Oregon; also a number of nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.

He was in the hotel business in Burlington about twenty years, coming to Farmington about eighteen years ago. While living here he was in the hotel business until failing health compelled him to quit.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, in the Bowles funeral parlor, conducted by the pastor of the Methodist Church, the Rev. John E. Ellis. Interment in Greenglade Cemetery.
