MARTIN, MAYFIELD, BENDIX, FRANKLIN, EVANS, PARISH

MRS. THOMAS MARTIN

Mrs. Armida Martin, daughter of Magdalene and William Barten Mayfield was born near Mt. Sterling, Iowa, March 7, 1868 and passed away at her home in Anson January 19, 1950.

She was united in marriage to Thomas Martin November 1890. To this union was born four children, two daughters and two sons.

Early in life she became a member of the Bethlehem church and later transferred her membership to the Anson Community church.

Four years ago she was layed up with a broken hip from which she was never fully recovered.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Edna Bendix of Luray, Mrs. Nina Franklin of Bonaparte, Iowa. Two sons, Alpha Martin of Revere and Ray Martin of Farmington, Iowa. Two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Evans 0f Kahoka, Missouri, Mrs. Nora Parish of Hale, Missouri, one brother, Charles Mayfield of Kahoka. Eight grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren and a host of friends and neighbors.

Funeral services were held in the Anson Church and interment in the Anson cemetery, Rev. Homer E. and Bernice C. Dalrymples officiating ministers. Music was also furnished by the Rev. Mrs. Dalrymples, Mrs. Ensminger at the piano.
