BELOVED SISTER DIED AUGUST 30, AGED 55

Edna Kennedy, daughter of James and Sarah Kennedy, was born on January 27, 1889, near Acasto, Clark county, Missouri, and departed this life on August 30, 1944, age 55 years, 7 months and 3 days.

She was united in marriage with Olin Gordon on August 13, 1907. To this union one daughter was born, which preceded her in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death on February 16, 1909.

She was a member of the Christian church of Keokuk, Iowa, where she had resided since 1928, until she removed to Eagle Rock, California, ten months ago and where she passed away after a very brief illness.

Edna was of an unusually kind disposition, ever ready to help where needed.

She leaves to mourn her passing, two sisters and two brothers, namely: Mrs. Charles Heath of Keokuk, Ia.; Mrs. Earl Hufford of Luray, Mo; Harry Kennedy of Eagle Rock, Calif. and Luther Kennedy of Cristobal, Panama; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends.

Funeral services were held at Acasto by Rev. Ramsey, Tuesday, Sept. 5th at 2:00 p.m. with interment in Acasto cemetery.

Pallbearers were Glen Kennedy, Ward Gregory, Harley Heath, Gilbert Bell, Owen Price and Chas. Parish.

Unchanged from what it was to be,
