GEORGE W. KRENMEYER

George Walter Krenmeyer, son of George and Eva Krenmeyer, was born January 2, 1886 in Farmington, Iowa, and died April 25, 1947 at the age of 61. He was left an orphan at a tender age. After living in Bonaparte for some time he returned to Farmington and worked for Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Jenkins for a period of 35 years. He has made his home for the last 15 years with Mrs. George Neafie.

Mr. Krenmeyer had been in failing health since fall and gave up this life at the Fort Madison hospital with cancer of the lung.

‘Creamy’ as he was called by his many friends was dependable and reliable, a good worker and good hearted. In his younger years he liked to play baseball. He always enjoyed to take his gun and dogs and go hunting.

Several cousins are his known relatives: Mrs. Myrtle Leffler, Mrs. Jake Wolf, Mrs. Addie Lowery, Mrs. Frank Cocherell, Jerry Krenmyre of Sheldahl, Iowa, Carrie Krenmyre on Pomona, Calif., and Della Sowers of Fort Madison
