Dianah King
Dianah King, daughter of Cornelius and Mary Jane King, was born in West Virginia, March 8, 1933 (sic) at 8 a.m.
She lived to be 80 years, 2 mos. and 14 days of age and located near Farmington, Iowa.
She lived in Keokuk for several years, and for eleven years was employed at the Garment Factory there. She was a seamstress of much ability.
Miss King was one of five children. One brother, William died in infancy, and two sisters, Emma and Frances King, died some years ago.
She made her home with her aged sister, Mrs. Orilla Harr. Mrs. Harr feels keenly the loss of her sister and will be lonely without her.
Miss King was converted and united with the Prairie Chapel M. E. church in early life. She afterward transferred her membership to the Farmington Methodist church and was a faithful member of the same.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 24, in the Farmington Methodist church and were conducted by her pastor Rev. Harvey E. Butler. Her remains were laid in the Acklam cemetiry(sic).
