ROBERT BRYANT STEWART
Robert Bryant Stewart, was born April 29, 1917 in Sullivan county, Missouri and departed this life March 8, 1959 at his home in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the son of Hugh and Ruth Veneil Stewart.
In the year 1940 he accepted Christ as savior and was baptized at that time.
On December 25, 1940 he was married to Ruth Ivins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ivins of Revere. To this union one daughter was born, Margaret Ann, who has made her home with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Stewart since her mother passed away on August 24, 1942.
On September 13, 1943, he was married to Elvega Jesse of Milan, Mo. To this union seven children were born: Donna, Bobby, Neoma, Marcia, Shirley, Joy and Sheri, all at home.
Other survivors besides those at home and his parents, are two sisters Veva of Farmington and Bertha of Revere, two brothers, George of Joplin and Harry of Revere, ten nieces and four nephews. Also three aunts and a number of friends and neighbors. One sister Shirley, and one brother, Billie preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12 from the Camelback Funeral Home in Phoenix with the pastor of the Granida Baptist church officiating. Burial was in the Edgewood cemetery in Phoenix.
