Cassie Sturdivant

William Cass Sturdivant, son of Cass and Jennie Sturdivant, was born Apr. 24, 1876 near Bonaparte, Iowa, and departed this life at Bonaparte, Iowa, March 12, 1857, at the age of ?? years, 10 months and 16 days.

He chose farming as his occupation, which he followed as long as health would permit.

He was married to Olive Roberta Miller of Lee County, on Feb. 26, 1901. To this union was born one son, Robert J.

He is survived by his son, Robert and wife, his grandson, Rodney, also one brother, Cleve of Gladstone, Oregon.

Cassie’s friends were numbered by his acquaintances, all of whom will mis him very much.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Bonaparte on Thursday afternoon, Mar. 14, conducted by the pastor, Jerald Beltz. Burial was in White cemetery.
