CHARLES HEATH
Charles Heath, son of Richard and Emma Heath, was born in Ohio, February 23, 1865, and passed away at his home in Revere, Mo., February 12, 1945, being at the time of his death 79 years, 11 months and 12 days of age.
His parents came to Clark county, Mo. when Charley was a boy, and here he has lived ever since. He was a farmer as long as his health would permit.
He was united in marriage with Miss Alice Folker, Sept. 2, 1891, who survives him.
Mr. and Mrs. Heath lived nearly all their married life in the Acasto community, moving to their present home in July, 1944. No children were born to this union, but they reared a nephew, Carl Folker of Burlington.
Charley was one of a family of eight children, three brothers and one sister have preceded him in death.
Those surviving are the widow, a brother, Harry Heath of Mt. Sterling, and two sisters, Sallie Griffiths of Keosauqua, and Mrs. Linnie Tennant of California also a number of nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends.
Funeral services were held at two o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Acasto Union Chapel, in charge of the Rev. John S. Ellis of the Farmington Methodist church. Interment in the Acasto cemetery.
