--Mrs. Catherine McSurley, widow of the late Miles McSurley, died Wednesday morning, March 29, 1899, at the home of her son James McSurley, near Mt. Zion, disease paralysis. She was sick only two or three days, and was 85 years old last November. She was a highly respected lady. Her husband died eight years ago. The funeral will be held to-day at her son's residence, sermon by Eld. Geo. A. Hendrickson, and the body will be buried by the side of her husband in the Purdom cemetery.
