He . . . born in Van Buren county, Iowa, August 14, 18?? . . . married Aug, 2, 188? . . . Findley at Ottumwa, . . . children were born . . . uion, tow of whom died in . . . Those surviving are Ralph, Gladys, Fred, Blanche and Mayme. Death came to him rather suddenly at Marmarth North Dakota, on Sept. 3, 1912.

In addition to his wife and children he also is survived by one brother, Geo. Blount of Pasadena, Cal.

Funeral services were held from the Vernon church, September 9, in charge of Rev. J.H. Taylor and the body interred in Vernon cemetery.
