JESS BRIDE DIES EARLY SUNDAY MORNING
**Handwritten: 1950

Troy-Jess Bride died at his home north of Troy early Sunday morning. He has been in failing health for several months. He is survived by his widow, Daisy, three sons, Stanley, Robert and Donald, and two daughters, Mrs. Lee Osborne and Mrs. Clint Osborne. Funeral services were held at the Curl funeral home in Bloomfield Tuesday afternoon, with burial in the Dunnville cemetery.

**Handwritten: Sept 24 1950

BLOOMFIELD. - Jess (Jake) Bride, 70, lifelong resident of Davis county, died at his home northeast of Troy Sunday at 2 a.m. following a lengthy illness.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy, two daughters, Mrs. Clinton Osborne, whose address is unknown, and Mrs. Lee Osborne of Bloomfield; three sons, Stanley at home, Robert of Waterloo and Donald, in the air force stationed at Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Charles and Leslie Bride of Bloomfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Melissa Brockerman of Cambridge, Neb., and Mrs. Ruth Louth of Oakland, California.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Curl funeral home with the Rev. Fred Sawyer in charge. Burial will be at the Dunnville cemetery.
